Tools and Hardware Reviews of Toro 51801 Leaf LockCustomer Review: Solved all of my headaches Summary: 5 StarsEvery fall I have tried to keep my leaves at the curb with old blankets and sheets. Besides the fact that they look awful they really never did the job. The wind would always blow the leaves back in my yard which was a major headache. We were skeptical but tried Leaf Lock and it really did the job. I could not recommend it more. I mulched some leaves and going to use it on that pile as well.
Description of Toro 51801 Leaf LockNo more freshly raked leaves dancing down the street in the wind, thanks to Toro's ingenious new Leaf Lock powder that holds down leaves and mulch to prevent scattering. When mixed with hose water or rain, Leaf Lock forms a thin shell that holds leaves and dry mulch in place for days. Perfect for towns requiring loose leaf collection, Leaf Lock pins down the piles so they won't blow away, even when the wind picks up or when cars buzz by. This 100-percent-natural product is very easy to use. Simply spray leaves with water, sprinkle Leaf Lock evenly over the pile, then spray with water again and wait (usually 1 hour) for the solution to dry. One 32-ounce bottle of Leaf Lock covers up to 150 square feet of piled leaves. --Brian Olson
