Its not a vacuum like in your house, it does take a bit to get those pesky leaves into your bag. Place that belt around your shoulders, or your back will feel it the next day. I also bought the utility bin and leaf hose. Don't put the vac on full blast or the top of the leaf cloth will fly off the bin. I also used the 8 foot hose and attached it onto a trash can and it also works, but that 8 foot hose seriously handicaps your mobility around the yard and try not get entangled with your electrical cord. This is the best leaf blower I've ever used. The air power is sufficient to move even wet leaves. The vacuum/mulcher does not chop the leaves as fine as I would like and the shoulder strap tends to slip off. But overall, this seems to be a good value for the money. Toro seems to have correct the motor failure problem of last year's model, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.Customer Review: best blower and vac

I ordered this blower/vac out of sheer frustration with gas motors that wouldn't start, or needed constant service. It proved to be more powerful, more versatile, and work better than I expected from it. It does a great job of blowing things clear, which is what I was really after, but when I gave it the first trial at sucking up and shredding leaves and debris, I was pleastantly suprised as well! I have no gripes with it, and can highly recommend it.
